Tight race in the AL West

  We are six weeks into the MLB season and there is no tighter race than the AL West right now. What started out as a neck-and-neck battle between the Texas Rangers and The Seattle Mariners has quickly become a hydro boat race between the Mariners, Astros and Athletics. The Seattle Mariners won nine straight series before getting swept by the Toronto Blue Jays over the weekend. The Mariners opening four game series against The Athletics resulted in a tie before they went on to lose their next series to the Detroit Tigers 1-2 at home and then being swept by The Giants in San Francisco. Mariners' fans were concerned about the season however, their luck seemed to turn around when they beat the Astros in Seattle 2-1. The Mariners then swept The Rangers knocking them out of their top position and went on to win seven more series, securing their first-place spot in the division.  However, all this momentum came to an abrupt halt when the Blue Jays visited Seattle, sweeping the Ms.  This opened up a world of possibilities for the Houston Astros who have won seven of thirteen series, sweeping the Blue Jays and also being swept by the Giants. Mariners Best Start Since 2001

  The Seattle Mariners, who had a questionable off-season with no major moves other than a new contract for Jorge Polanco  to play third and a last-minute decision to part ways with Mitch Haniger, have made quite the commotion to start the 2025 season.

Aaron Judge Takes Lead in Home Run Race.

 Two weeks into baseball and the race is on. Orioles left fielder Tyler O'Neill hit the first and his only (so far) home run of the season on March 27th adding to his MLB record of six consecutive Opening Day home runs. New York Yankees Captain Aaron Judge, who hit 58 home runs last year including his 300th career home run, currently leads at 6. Meanwhile, Cubs right fielder Kyle Tucker, Angels catcher Logan O'hoppe, Dodgers second baseman Tommy Edman and Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suárez all trail with 5.

Fans split over 'torpedo bats'

   Baseball fans everywhere have been talking about the new bats the New York Yankees made famous over their opening series against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Yankees swept the series and scored 36 runs with a massive 15 home in three games.

Roki Sasaki Emotional After Stateside Debut

   Right-handed Dodgers pitcher Roki Sasaki has had a hard time finding his groove in L.A with his first two starts falling short. The 23-year-old rookie left Saturdays game between the Detroit Tigers after just over 1 1/2 innings giving up three hits and two earned runs allowed plus four walks. He threw 61 pitches with 32 strikes before exiting the game but there were also some impressive throws seen.

From the immaculate weather to the roar of the crowd watching their favorite players hit bombs out of the park, every moment holds a memory that cannot be replicated. Robo Umps Are Changing The Game

   Despite skepticism and controversy, we have now experienced an entire spring training with Robot Umpires.  Although there was some concern amongst fans about the system taking away the human aspect of the game, the Robo Umps are low key and non-invasive.
